Team, Invitations & Multi-Organization Access

How people get into your workspace, what they're allowed to do, and how one person can work across several organizations.

Find the Team page under Settings → Team (Workspace group in the settings sidebar).

The Team page

Two tabs:

  • Members — everyone in the organization, in a table: name, status, role, and email. A search box filters by name or email, and a role dropdown narrows to one role. The menu on each row holds the actions.
  • Roles — (admins only) your company's role structure: create titles like Sales Manager or Revenue Ops, each with its own permission set. The key icon opens a permission matrix (View/Write per module); suggested titles are one click to add.

Inviting a teammate

Admins click Invite Member, enter the person's email address, pick a role, and send. No passwords are created or shared — the CRM emails them an invitation link.

  • The invitation expires in 3 days.
  • Until accepted, the person shows in the Members table with a Pending badge; the menu offers Resend invitation and Revoke invitation.
  • Opening the link takes them to a join page showing the organization name; they set their own name and password, and land in the CRM signed in.
  • If the email already has an account with VBRI Group (for example, someone from another organization), they're added immediately — no email needed, since they can already sign in.

Active members show an Active badge. Admins can change any member's role inline from the table, or remove them via the menu (removal only detaches them from this organization — their account and other organizations are untouched).

Delegated access — one person, many organizations

A single account can belong to any number of organizations. This is how an agency or consultant works across client workspaces:

  1. The client's admin invites your email from their organization's Team page (Settings → Team → Invite Member).
  2. Because your account already exists, you're attached instantly with whatever role they chose.
  3. An organization switcher appears in your top header (next to the theme toggle) — it's hidden while you belong to only one organization.

Pick an organization from the switcher and the entire CRM reloads scoped to it: its leads, deals, team, settings, integrations — everything. Your role can differ per organization (Admin in your own, Member or Viewer in a client's), and every permission check uses the role you hold in the organization you're currently viewing.

Switching is verified server-side on every request — you can only ever enter organizations where you hold a real membership, and if a client removes you, that organization simply disappears from your switcher.

Access levels

Every membership maps to one of three base levels (custom role titles carry one of these underneath):

LevelWhat it allows
Organization AdminEverything, including settings, team, roles, Lead Chains, and integrations.
Organization MemberDay-to-day work: leads, deals, calls, meetings, Copilot.
Organization ViewerRead-only.

Custom roles (Roles tab) refine this further with per-module View/Write toggles.
